The theme for Nordic BIM Summit 2022 was ”Let’s work smarter”. We broke it down into four main topics: Cloud, Sustainability, Competence development and BIM + digitalisation. Digitalisation

The building and infrastructure industry is becoming more and more digitalised, in many ways thanks to an increased BIM maturity. With digitalisation comes new ways of working, business models and flow of data. The question is are we making the best of it? 

Sustainability

It is now 50 years since the first UN conference on Sustainability that took place in Stockholm. We are also just in between the Paris meeting and 2030. The time to act is NOW. How can we in the Building and Infrastructure industry make a change that impacts, and do we have the tools available to make that change? In our keynote panel we will have three different perspectives on what is possible already now and how it impacts the future.

Cloud

With the increased digitalisation the value of sharing data cross functions and stages is becoming more and more evident. In other industries Cloud is a key driver to take the next steps, both for efficiencies and as a fundamental building block of the sustainability measures. Given sensitive data and many actors, how are we in the industry to take-on this challenge? Let’s construct the new!

Skills & Knowledge

The Building and Infrastructure industry is facing numerous challenges the coming years. Continue with BIM, implement cloud solutions, reach sustainability targets as well as financial. Without well educated and synched teams this will not be feasible. How can we support skills development and retainment in a more and more fast-moving world?
