In academia, Asem currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in Architecture at London South Bank University, where he teaches modules in Design and Professional Practice to BA and March students. In professional practice, Asem works as a BIM/Digital Twin Manager at Winvic Construction, managing construction projects and utilising advanced digital tools such as Revit, Dynamo, BIM360 and ACC. With a strong background in managing traditional and BIM projects, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his teaching, bridging the gap between theory and practice.

A passionate researcher and lifelong learner, Asem has published academic papers, presented at national and international conferences, and built a strong network within the academic and professional communities.

As a data scientist at Gehl, Adam plays a central role in supporting Gehl to gather the most value from the collected and external data in each project. Adam is part of the Cities team in the Copenhagen office, where he contributes to urban and strategic projects. With an interdisciplinary background, Adam has experience in analyzing cities from a data-driven and social perspective. Adam comfortably switches between qualitative and quantitative analysis and enjoys navigating the intersection of design and information-based decision making. He also contributes to Gehl’s Research & Development taskforce by developing new tools, methods, and use cases for working with data more efficiently.

He is a highly accomplished event host working with Tottenham Hotspur FC for the last 20 years and many major sporting events including Cup Finals for Wembley Stadium, the Rugby World Cup at Twickenham, World Athletics Champs at the London Stadium and the Tour de France. He also hosts many speaking lunches and awards ceremonies throughout the year and has worked with City AM, the National Beauty Awards and COLMWA Awards at the prestigious Guildhall in the City of London.
